1. Introduction

Welcome to Bakari-Health ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, booking system, and IV therapy services. By using our website and services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

2. Booking and Cancellation Policy

2.1 Booking

All bookings must be made through our website or by contacting our team directly. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is payable after the service.

2.2 Cancellation

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment:

• 48+ hours notice: You may reschedule your appointment. The deposit will be transferred to the new booking.
• Less than 48 hours notice: The deposit will be forfeited.
• No-show: The deposit will be forfeited, and you may be required to pay the full service fee for future bookings.

3. Medical Disclaimer

Important: Our services are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have a medical emergency, please call 10111 (South African emergency services) or visit your nearest hospital.

Before receiving any IV therapy, you will undergo a health consultation with one of our licensed healthcare professionals. It is your responsibility to provide accurate and complete health information.

IV therapy is not suitable for everyone. We reserve the right to refuse service to any client based on health assessments.

4. Payment Terms

• Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
• Balance: The remaining 50% is payable after the service.
• Payment Methods: We accept payments via Payfast, Ozow, and Yoco.
• Late Payment: Unpaid balances must be settled within 7 days of the service.

5. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful health information.
• Inform us of any changes to your health status before your appointment.
• Arrive on time for your appointment.
• Follow the pre- and post-treatment instructions provided by our healthcare professionals.
• Respect our staff and property.

6. Refund Policy

• Deposits: Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.
• Service Quality: If you are unsatisfied with your service, please contact us within 48 hours. We will review your case and, if appropriate, offer a partial refund or complimentary service.
• Cancellations: Refunds are not provided for cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Bakari-Health shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
• Any adverse reactions to IV therapy that are not a result of our negligence.
• Any delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the service in question.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website – including text, graphics, logos, images, and software – is the property of Bakari-Health and is protected by South African and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without our express written permission.

9. Privacy and Data Protection
